10 Yukina

Merry late Christmas everyone! ^_^ Yukina had an awesome holiday, as I saw in third person, and I hope you guys did too. What all did you get? Hehe I got a lot of Hello Kitty things. No joke. I got some new perfume and bags so that’s always a plus. ^_^ I have an obsession with shoes, perfumes, and purses if you must know. Haha. Here’s a picture from Christmas where it actually snowed like it was supposed to.
Well I hope everyone enjoys the rest of their holidays and I’ll see you in my next blog. Thanks for reading and supporting. <3

Hello everybody! Wow it’s getting cold now isn’t it? All this cold weather is getting me ready for Christmas, we put up our Christmas tree yesterday!
Me and my friend Chloe also went to the local Christmas market to hunt for presents, it was so cute! There were lots of old fashioned styled huts with Christmas music playing, the atmosphere was great.
I think my favourite thing about Christmas is the food. My mother always makes the most amazing meals – and it isn’t always the traditional roast turkey! One year we had a spicy fish and noodles dish! I didn’t like that much but the rest of my family did, hahaha! Either way it’s nice to be home in the warmth with my family, I’m so glad classes are over for 2012! What’s your favourite thing about Christmas?
Unfortunately in the last couple of days I’ve been in a lot of pain because one my wisdom teeth is coming through and I have reacted badly to it. It’s very painful to eat or talk at the moment o(╥﹏╥)o I just hope the swelling will go down soon or I might have to have an operation. Here’s hoping for a speedy recovery!

Hey guys!
So it’s getting pretty close to Christmas time and I’ve been so busy preparing! Have you? Well I’m still wrapping gifts and we aren’t decorating much this year. It got strangely warm for December this year, around 70 degrees F which isn’t normal for where I live, haha. We decided instead of putting up our usual big tree, to put up the smaller white one in the kitchen. Here are a few ornaments and the tree topper that we put on.
Aren’t they great?! ^_^ I had to put the Hello Kitty ones on it. It’s pretty simple this year in the decorating department. I’ve been practicing and studying really hard for the O!P New Year’s song and I hope everyone enjoys it. It’s a lot of work but when it’s finished it will be awesome. <3 this blog was a little short but thanks for reading and have a very Kyary Chrisamasu!! XD

Hello Kiwis! Are you looking forward to Christmas yet? I’m still focusing on essays but in two days I will be freeeeeeeee… From essays at least, I still have another week of work before I get to return home! I haven’t made a blog in a while, so here’s an extra-long one about Hyper Japan!
It was so much fun! I spent the weekend staying at Ichigo member Scarlett’s house with our friends Rachel and Charlotte – who just became a Mini Cherry! We had a lot of fun watching Scarlett rehearse for her performance on Friday, and then on Saturday we got to watch all the UK Ichigo members perform from the front row! I did this at Expo too, hahaha I’m a big fan! They sounded incredible though and it made me more excited to get up there on stage with them – even though I definitely need to practice lots to be at their standard! It was even more exciting seeing the reception they got and how many people came to support them. After that we stayed to watch Manager Beckii’s performance, which was brilliant of course. It was a strange experience sitting there and realising I spoke to such talented people on a daily basis.
In the morning looking around the stalls and meeting lots of friends. My best friend Chloe also came to say hello on Saturday, and I got to meet Beckii as well! That was so strange, she’s exactly the same in person as she is online, but she had a cool aura about her. I got star-struck *A*
I also found one of the best pork ramen stalls for lunch! Even thinking about it now makes me hungry…
I spent the rest of the day with Scarlett, Charlotte, Kelsey and Rachel, and we got to see Ninjaman Japan! They were so cool! I didn’t know what to expect but wow, singing ninjas! We started dancing along to their routines as we watched. And the best thing about it? They accidentally played a bit of GAMETIME at the beginning on the sound system in front such a big crowd! We all cheered, hahaha!
Sunday was even better, as we got to meet Ninjaman Japan, I even got their autograph!
I also got to meet the Wa-pop singer Tomoca and her band, which was very cool! We listened to them on Saturday and I really enjoyed their style of music! Next, me, Kelsey and Charlotte watched Scarlett in the Kawaii Street Fashion Show, which was amazing! The girls were all stunning and I managed to catch one of the free bags of sweets they were throwing into the audience! It had Hello Kitty bubblegum inside.
I definitely can’t wait to go the next Hyper Japan, it was so much fun! I have only ever attended London MCM Expo before, which is getting very very big and there’s so much going on it’s hard to have fun when you have so much to think about, but Hyper Japan was relaxing and enjoyable.
I had trouble coming back to university due to heavy flooding here in the UK, but I eventually got home safely. Thank you so much to everyone I met there, you made the weekend for me! I feel so privileged to have friends like you!
Although I must remember not to spend too much time with Kelsey, Rachel and Charlotte, their Northern accent is catching!

Hello everyone! Happy December!
こんばんは皆さん!12月ハッピー!

I’m so busy now! Finals are coming in, so I hope to finish this semester with good marks. Wish me luck!
I want to show you what I’ve been up to so far.

My tree is decorated!! My family finished most of the Christmas rush work before December even came!

I do volunteer work every Friday where I assist teaching an art class at an high school in the city.
Instead of me just teaching the students how to draw or paint, I’m actually developing projects we all work on together.
I think that’s a better environment for creativity to flow than me just telling them “how art should be.”

Well, last weekend, we had an exhibition of the work the students, and us volunteers did!

The whole area we work in is a bad neighborhood, and we are trying to redeem any rich culture and history left in the city.
The gallery was on the top floor of a Polish Hall, which was gorgeous, but I had to do a lot of yard work and cleaning
for it to look presentable.

After all the back breaking work, I could finally enjoy how beautiful our gallery was!

The table is the project I work on for my professor. We recorded the conversations between the senior citizens and the students of the area to see how these gapped generations would interact. As they told stories and feelings they were open to doodle, paint, write, or color while listening to each other. The artwork on the tables are the results while you can sit down and listen to what
was recorded. I really enjoyed this project because I got to meet so many amazing people.
Well, I’m very tired now, and I will busy for next two weeks with finals. Let’s all get through this!
